Pakistan Airports Authority has announced plans to develop a multi-purpose fuel and service facility at Islamabad International Airport, which will include the airport’s first Electric Vehicle (EV) charging station. According to an auction notice, lease rights are being offered for Plot No. F-180 C, spanning 4,532 square yards, to establish and operate a petrol pump alongside EV chargers and allied services such as a tuck shop, lube shop, tyre shop, and restaurant. The lease will be granted for 30 years, extendable by another 20 years under the PAA Land Lease Policy 2019. Only licensed oil marketing companies may bid, with the auction scheduled for February 4, 2026 in Islamabad. The initiative aims to modernize airport services and support sustainable mobility.
