Multan Avenue Project to Be Completed Within Four Months

The Multan Divisional Development Working Party (DDWP) has approved the nine-kilometre Multan Avenue project with a total cost of Rs2.8 billion, confirming that the project will be completed within four months. The road will stretch from Saidanwala Chowk to Sahu Chowk and is designed as a modern urban corridor.Officials rejected allegations that the project was divided into eight packages to bypass the PDWP, clarifying that the segmentation follows the Annual Development Program (ADP) framework to improve efficiency and financial management. Initial tenders were cancelled due to temporary funding constraints, but revised bidding resulted in Rs900 million in savings.Supervised by NESPAK under the oversight of the Divisional Commissioner, the project includes three-lane dual carriageways, LED streetlights, service roads, walkways, organized parking, and extensive green corridors, setting a benchmark for sustainable urban development in Multan
