LDA Seals 121 Illegal Commercial Properties Across Lahore

Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has intensified its enforcement drive against illegal commercial buildings and defaulters of commercial fees, sealing 121 properties across Lahore. Acting on the directives of DG LDA Tahir Farooq, teams from the Town Planning Wing carried out operations in LDA-controlled areas including Raiwind Road, Township, New Muslim Town, Johar Town, Gulberg, New Garden Town, Gujarpura, Government Superior Services Scheme, and Sabzazar. Properties were sealed for unauthorized commercial use and non-payment of dues, including banks, marriage halls, schools, clinics, bakeries, pharmacies, workshops, showrooms, restaurants, salons, offices, and shops. The operation was supervised by Chief Town Planner Asad-ul-Zaman and Chief Town Planner-II Azhar Ali. LDA officials stated that indiscriminate action will continue to ensure compliance with planning regulations.
